The year 2020 has been extremely shocking so far that it has lumped the throats of the entertainment industry. There weren’t only business crises this year, but many artists have said goodbye forever. Recently, the demise of TV and film-renowned actor Ashiesh Roy has saddened the entertainment industry. On the demise of Ashiesh, many celebs have paid homage through social media expressing their anguish.
Karanvir Bohra can’t believe Ashiesh is gone. He wrote, “Oh My God! Is he gone? This is so sad. Such a lively guy, full of plans. He had ideas galore. He was always upbeat and enthusiastic. It’s a sad sorry state of affairs. For the last ten days, I’ve been depressed because my father was in the hospital. No one should be in a hospital. It’s so depressing. I hope Ashiesh was at home when the end came. Om Namah Shivay!”
Paying a tribute to the late actor, filmmaker Hansal Mehta called him Bond and wrote, “Bond, Ashiesh Roy gone too soon. Rest well, my friend.” On the other hand, Manoj Bajpayee also addressed Ashiesh as Bond and tweeted, “Gone too soon Bond #AshishRoy !! Rest in peace my friend” followed by folded hands emoticons. Director Anubhav Sinha also replied to Hansal Mehta’s tweet and expressed his disappointment towards the year 2020. He tweeted, “Arre yaar, Kaisa saal hai kambakht.”
Well, Goodbye doesn’t mean forever. If it did, we ought to be saying ‘BadBye’.
