Salman Khan
The Bollywood star was convicted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and sentenced to five years in jail in 2018 for killing two endangered blackbucks near Jodhpur while filming “Hum Saath Saath Hain.” He was granted bail a few days later and has since appealed the verdict. In the 2002 hit-and-run case, he was convicted by a lower court but acquitted by the Bombay High Court in 2015.
Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt was convicted for illegal possession of weapons in a case linked to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. He was originally sentenced to six years in prison in 2006. After a Supreme Court ruling in 2013 reduced the sentence, he served five years and was released in February 2016 for good conduct.
Rhea Chakraborty
