Actor Arvind Swami shared the new look posters of him playing MGR in the upcoming Bollywood movie, ‘Thalaivi.’ Arvind took to Twitter on the death anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, MG Ramchandran and captioned the pictures, “It was not just an honour to play the role of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR, but a great responsibility. ‘Thalaivi’ is based on the life of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa whose character would be portrayed by the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. MGR, who played a pivotal role in Jayalalithaa’s life and career would be portrayed by Arvind Swami who posted his first look as MGR in January 2020.

The film is scheduled to release on June 26,2020 in three Indian languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
